Shaina Ladiwala

Content writer, Dhamkee

Shaina is a mother of two who runs, practises yoga, trains, and cooks. Healthy food is the part she genuinely enjoys — not as a discipline, but because feeding people well and staying cheerful about it is most of what she does. She fits her own training into the hours around two children, which is the same problem most of the women reading this blog are solving.

She writes the Dhamkee blog.

What she is not

Shaina is not a nutritionist, a dietitian, or a doctor, and nothing on this blog is written as medical or nutrition advice. She has no clinical qualification and does not claim one.

How these posts are made

  1. We pick a question Indian women are actually searching for.
  2. We find a qualified professional — a registered dietitian, a certified coach, a doctor — who has answered that question publicly on Instagram.
  3. We embed their post in full, credit them by name and handle, and report what they said.
  4. We add context: what this looks like in an Indian kitchen, and what it means for a woman training in her thirties or forties. That part is framing, not advice. Anything prescriptive is attributed to the professional who said it.
  5. Shaina reads and approves every post before it publishes.

We have not independently verified the claims made by the professionals we quote, and we do not endorse them. We have no commercial relationship with them unless a post says otherwise.
